Simone Walter
Consultant Audiovestibular Physician
Simone Walter trained in paediatrics before specialising in audiovestibular medicine. She has participated in research into congenital CMV and hearing loss with virology and paediatric infectious diseases supervisors, Professor Paul Griffiths and Professor Mike Sharland, from a London-based CMV research group. She has also worked with the National Deaf Children’s Society, CMV Action, the Ear Foundation and the British Association of Audiovestibular Physicians to help educate on congenital CMV and hearing loss.
