The TWJ Foundation celebrated its 50th anniversary this year. A black-tie dinner was held at the Apothecaries’ Hall in London on Friday 3 May, with the President, David Wright, in the chair. The evening brought together TWJ Trustees, some of our fellowship hosts, former fellows, donors and TWJ family members.

A pilot study is currently underway in preparation for a UK National Eye Health and Hearing Study (UKNEHS). This will help to ensure an up-to-date and comprehensive picture of sight and hearing loss among over 50s in the UK.
The Irish Rhinologic Society has recently launched an introductory patient education podcast series. The initial series will be four episodes, which will also include a dedicated episode to asthma/allergic rhinitis and nasal surgery.
